Foster leadership skills as a Campus Ambassador

VersaFi’s Campus Ambassadors help increase awareness of VersaFi and our mission to accelerate equity for women in finance. Aimed at students working toward a career in finance, Campus Ambassadors receive valuable engagement opportunities with sector leaders and other students interested in growing their network.

Our Campus Ambassador program will provide you with the leadership experience and networking opportunities that will help set you on a path to success!

Campus Ambassadors support VersaFi programming the following ways:

Promoting VersaFi membership to other students.
Promoting VersaFi events in your city or on campus.
Connecting VersaFi staff with faculty, career centre staff
and student clubs to help identify partnership opportunities.
Acting as an advocate by sharing VersaFi’s strategic vision.
Raising awareness about VersaFi’s mission and student programming,
including the mentorship program and Job Board.
Connecting with VersaFi Steering Committee members
in your region to assist with local initiatives.

Gain volunteer experience and hours;
Acquire valuable career skills such as leadership, public speaking, and problem-solving;
Network with financial professionals and students interested in careers in finance;
Build your resume and highlight your interest in finance to potential employers;
Be part of an engaged team that is united in its vision for gender equality in finance
Complimentary 1 year VersaFi Student Membership

Become experts on VersaFi’s goals and strategies;
Contribute to presentations to promote VersaFi’s goals and programs
Assist with events and activities that strengthen VersaFi’s awareness
Be a VersaFi advocate by sharing our passion and strategic vision;
Raise awareness about VersaFi programming, including the mentorship program, job board and speaker series on campus

Total time commitment: 10 – 20 hours per academic year.

Applications for the 2025-2026 cohort will open in June 2025.

The Heather L. Main Memorial Scholarship is a comprehensive $25K scholarship, Capital Markets summer internship, bespoke coaching and VersaFi membership program for women who are graduate students.

Job Shadow Day | High School Students

Since 2004, VersaFi has invited young women and gender-diverse senior high school students with an interest in business to spend a day in the Canadian financial district.
