What you’ll be doing
At CIBC, we are on a mission to build a client-focused, connected, and performance-driven team and are seeking applicants who can help us transform our bank.
The CIBC Opportunity Scholarship helps match talent to opportunities for students facing barriers to entry into careers in financial services. Eligible students enrolled in full-time undergraduate programs in Canada can receive a scholarship and paid internships in the 2027 Capital Markets Summer Internship program.
This scholarship is available at the bachelor’s degree level valued at $10,000 CAD, available for one academic year. In addition to the scholarship, the successful applicant will be offered a paid summer internship in Global Investment Banking.
As a student analyst on our Global Investment Banking team, you will be making a real difference to our clients by helping to provide customized financing and advisory solutions. With offices located in Canada, the United States, Colombia, Europe, Asia and Australia, our Global Investment Banking group provides equity and debt underwriting as well as corporate finance advisory services to a broad range of public and private corporations through a number of industry and product groups. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a group of professionals ranging from Analysts to Managing Directors who are dedicated to advising clients.
