Building Momentum: Women and Allies in Finance Networking Ride

Join us for an afternoon that brings together two elements of success: energy and connection. We’re starting with a high-energy spin class, then continuing the momentum with conversation.

This event creates space for women and allies to connect in a new way, one that honours both the intensity we bring to our work and the importance of the community with which we surround ourselves. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or early in your career, you’ll leave energized and connected with others who share your drive.

What to Expect:
– A 45-minute spin class led by an experienced instructor.
– Post-ride mingling with refreshments and conversation.
– A chance to connect with peers, mentors, and allies in the finance industry

Agenda:
4:00 – 4:20 PM: Check-in (please bring ID) and get set up on bikes.
4:30 – 5:15 PM:  Cycle Beats with Monique Blythe.
5:15 – 6:00 PM: Post-ride snacks, & social

Additional Information:
Everyone will be required to provide photo ID upon check-in.

Wear any comfortable workout attire and running shoes. The studio is air-conditioned but expect the class to be challenging and you’re guaranteed to work up a sweat!
Please note that if attendees need to change/get ready for the class, they should arrive early to ensure they are ready to go for 4:20. Staff will be on hand to assist with bike set up.

Cycling shoes are not required as the bikes have toe cages that allow for regular running shoes. However, if you have cycling shoes, most are compatible with the Stages bikes (bikes can accommodate SPD and Look Delta clips.

Please bring a water bottle! There are filtered water stations close to the Cycling Studio so bottles can be filled up prior to class (or if you arrive without a water bottle, water can be purchased at the Body Energy Club location on site).

Locker rooms are equipped with programmable lockers so no lock is needed. Shower towels are provided. In addition to the shower facilities (with Grown Alchemist products), participants have access to both the eucalyptus steam room and dry sauna.
