Western Capital Markets Presents: Empower Summit

Students from equity-deserving groups are invited to register to attend Western Capital Markets’ upcoming Empower Summit.

Formerly the Women in Finance Conference, the Empower Summit will take place on Friday, November 8th, 2024 in Toronto. The event aims to spotlight diverse leaders who are interested in finance and support students from historically underrepresented groups (female, non-binary, and students from equity-deserving groups [Black, Indigenous, LBGTQ2S+, individuals with accessibility needs, etc.]) who are interested in finance develop the necessary skills they need to break into the industry.

The Western Capital Markets team is excited to be hosting several events throughout the conference, comprised of educational sessions led by executives in the industry, speaker panels with highly accomplished leaders, and networking sessions with large financial institutions for summer and full-time roles.

The day will conclude with in-person cocktail hour in the evening for students to network with industry professionals and Western Capital Markets executives. All conference components will be in person at the University Club of Toronto.
