The Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM) Fiscal Management for the Government of Nunavut (GN)
is to provide leadership and oversight of the GN’s financial operations and fiscal accountability.
Serving as a critical member of the Department of Finance, the ADM supports the Financial
Management Board by offering expert analysis, fiscal policy recommendations, and leading the
government’s capital and operations budget planning. Additionally, the ADM oversees the development and implementation of fiscal and economic policies, manages the territory’s tax system and the Nunavut Liquor and Cannabis Commission, and ensures the financial stability of government programs and services. This role directly supports the GN’s broader strategic objectives of delivering effective public services across the territory, ensuring financial integrity, and promoting sustainable fiscal management.
