Position Summary
This position is on the Investment team, which comprises Public Equities, Fixed Income and Private Markets. The Associate reports to the two Public Equities Associate Portfolio Managers, provides analytical support to the Public Equities team, and helps identify, evaluate, and manage beta-one public equities and absolute return hedge fund investment opportunities globally through internal research and engagement with external investment managers. While focused on public equities and absolute return strategies, the Associate also participates in regular internal Investment team meetings and, therefore, gains exposure to all asset classes and strategies in which UTAM invests.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who is analytical and detailed, possesses superior communication skills, and is comfortable producing written material and delivering verbal communications.

Compensation
A competitive total compensation package, including a defined-benefit pension plan and financial and paid leave support in completing CFA and CAIA designations, is offered.
