Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Calgary’s office is actively hiring for a Cost Analytics & Reporting Senior Analyst to join the team. This position reports to the Manager, Cost Analytics & Reporting in the Financial Planning & Analysis team, part of Pembina’s Financial Services division.
The Financial Services team supports the company’s major decisions through an in-depth understanding of financial health in the short term and long term, credit and market risk, weighted average cost of capital, and capital markets opportunities to pursue growth (considering financing strategy, M&A opportunities, etc.). The team is responsible to understand the current state as well as the future state across a variety of scenarios, and their potential impact to external stakeholders (such as shareholders and rating agencies).
This role is critical to Finance’s success, requiring a strategic and business-focused professional who can lead driver-based forecasting, integrated reporting, and KPI management across the cost management function. Acting as a trusted advisor to Cost Business Partners, Corporate Planning, and operational leaders, the Senior Analyst translates complex financial data into actionable insights that support informed decision-making, cost discipline, and performance improvement. The Senior Analyst is responsible for establishing and maintaining robust cost data, reporting frameworks, analytics tools, and master data governance, while identifying trends, cost optimization opportunities, and recoverable costs through collaboration with Strategic Business Partners.
