As an Intern, CPA Program, you will join CPP Investments for an 8-month term from September 2026 to April 2027, working within one of our Finance teams.
This internship also serves as a key talent pipeline into CPP Investments’ full-time CPA Rotational Analyst Program. High-performing interns who demonstrate a strong interest in obtaining their CPA designation may be considered for a return offer.
Accountabilities & Qualifications:
Throughout the recruitment process, candidates will be considered for placement across the teams outlined below. Final team assignments are determined based on a combination of business needs and individual preferences. We encourage candidates to approach the process with curiosity and openness to learning across the Fund.
Financial Policy & Reporting is responsible for establishing CPP Investments’ accounting policies to ensure compliance with the CPPIB Act and applicable external standards. The team delivers transparent and high-quality financial reporting to external stakeholders while maintaining strong internal controls. In addition, Financial Policy & Reporting supports the Audit Committee in enabling effective Board oversight and upholding best practices in financial governance.
Valuations define and oversee the governance, policies, standards, and methodologies related to investment valuation. The team manages the quarterly valuation lifecycle and provides assurance that valuations are robust and reliable, supporting critical Fund decisions such as portfolio rebalancing, risk management, and financial reporting.
Fall & Winter Internship Experience:
Your experience begins with Intern Orientation in September, where you’ll connect with fellow interns and gain a broad understanding of how the Fund operates across teams and functions. Throughout the term, you will have the opportunity to engage in organization-wide events and initiatives while building your skillset through hands-on, on-the-job learning aligned with your team’s priorities.
You’ll also participate in a cross-functional Intern Hackathon, collaborating with peers across departments to solve real business challenges.
