As an Intern with Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan’s (OTPP) Portfolio Solutions Group (PSG), you will gain a unique bird’s-eye view of our Infrastructure & Natural Resources (INR) portfolio and contribute directly to portfolio construction, valuations, and strategic analysis. You’ll collaborate with a small, high-performing team in Toronto, while also engaging with colleagues across our global offices in London, Singapore, and Mumbai.

This role is ideal for students eager to gain exposure to private equity investing in the growing Infrastructure and Natural Resources sectors while sharpening technical and analytical skills in a dynamic, professional environment.

Who you’ll work with

You will join our Toronto office where you’ll work closely with the Director, Principal, and Associate within PSG, who oversee portfolio construction and analytics initiatives for the global INR investment team. You will also engage with INR’s 70+ specialized investment professionals across our global offices and collaborate on cross-portfolio initiatives with PSG colleagues supporting other asset classes.

  • Support valuations and reporting that inform leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Work across asset classes with PSG colleagues on firm-wide initiatives.

The expected hourly range for this role is $30 – $34 depending on experience and qualifications.

Required skills / Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a late-stage undergraduate (2nd–4th year) or graduate program in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related fields.
  • Strong academic performance and proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • A curious, collaborative, and self-driven mindset that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of investment concepts and interest in Infrastructure & Natural Resources sectors considered an asset.
  • Must be enrolled in a co-op program or returning back to your studies after the work term is completed
