Private Capital invests in companies around the world seeking to grow and add value to their businesses. We search for high quality direct private equity investment opportunities in mature businesses with strong management teams, putting capital to work in Canada, the United States, Europe, Asia.
Who you’ll work with
Private Capital, the private equity arm of Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, focuses on long-term value creation. The team invests directly in private companies, either on its own or with partners, and indirectly through private equity funds (note this role is not a fund investing role). It has realized a rate of return of nearly 20% per year since inception. Both domestically and internationally, Private Capital has been a major principal in some of the world’s most significant and complex private equity transactions (e.g., GFL, Princeton Digital, Traeger, Cushman & Wakefield, Amica Senior Living, HomeEquity Bank).
