What we are looking for:
Reporting to the Senior Managing Director, the Managing Director is responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities for Fiera Private Debt in order to achieve financial objectives and ensure the full growth potential of the firm. The Managing Director will be responsible for loan origination, the initial screening of new financing opportunities, the preparation of credit committee submissions, closings, ongoing portfolio management and loan monitoring.
The candidate must be a motivated self-starter who is well-organized with a proven track record in business development, risk assessment and portfolio management. Experience in analyzing and underwriting credit combined with strong financial skills is vital. Candidates must also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.

For all positions in Quebec (Montreal and Laval), proficiency in French, both spoken and written, is mandatory. Working English proficiency is also required in order to serve our offices and clients around the world.
