The Global Equities Team: Investing Beyond Borders
Are you passionate about global markets and identifying high performing companies across regions, sectors, and market environments? Addenda Capital is seeking a Portfolio Manager, Global Equities, to help shape and manage diversified equity portfolios designed to deliver long-term value for institutional clients.
Reporting to the VP of Global Equities and Innovation, you will play a key role in portfolio construction, investment research, and active risk management across developed and emerging markets. This role combines deep fundamental research with active portfolio construction, risk management, and conviction-driven decision making across global markets.
You will contribute directly to investment outcomes through security selection, portfolio positioning, and ongoing monitoring of market developments, while helping evolve the team’s investment process, analytics capabilities, and research infrastructure.

Position description
Your Responsibilities
  • Generate investment ideas across U.S., international, and global equity portfolios and mandates;
  • Conduct fundamental company and sector research across markets;
  • Drive portfolio positioning decisions, capital allocation, and risk-adjusted return outcomes;
  • Ensure portfolios remain aligned with client mandates, compliance guidelines, and sustainability considerations;
  • Lead or contribute meaningfully to earnings reviews, management meetings, broker interactions, and investment discussions;
  • Communicate investment perspectives and portfolio positioning effectively to institutional clients and stakeholders;
  • Support a team-based investment approach emphasizing shared research, constructive debate, and independent thinking;
  • Contribute to the evolution of the team’s investment process, research standards, and portfolio construction framework.
Required skills / Experience
What you bring
  • University degree;
  • CFA designation required; ability to meet the portfolio manager’s registration requirements;
  • 8+ years of relevant investment experience, with demonstrated progression in research and portfolio decision-making responsibilities;
  • Direct experience investing across global or international equity markets;
  • Strong understanding of equity valuation, portfolio construction, and risk management principles;
  • Ability to analyze businesses across sectors and geographies;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate investment views clearly and concisely;
  • Collaborative team player with a knowledge-sharing mindset.
