We are seeking talented and energetic candidates to join our Advisory, Management Consulting team as an Intern / Co-op Consultant or Senior Consultant working in our Toronto practice starting in Summer (May) 2026.

What you will do

Consumer & Retail Solutions 

The KPMG Consumer & Retail Solutions Team creates best-in-class digitally enabled customer experiences (CX) as part of our clients’ wider organizational strategy. We operate across seven key service domains: CX design, growth strategy, digital advisory, e-commerce advisory, innovation, NextGen strategy, and contact centre advisory. Our projects are about understanding strategy, technology, design, and process through the lens of digital experience. We would love to hear from individuals who are passionate about helping clients reshape their business around the customer to create a truly connected and profitable enterprise.  

Operations   

The Operations team at KPMG supports clients in the Financial Services sector (Banking, Wealth & Asset Management, Insurance, Private Equity, Pensions), the Public Sector and the Energy and Natural Resources sectors with a range of services: strategic planning, growth & omni-channel strategy, Target Operating Model (TOM) design, process improvement/redesign, cost optimization/value realization and accounting/regulatory change programs. As part of the Operations team, you will help clients perform current situation assessments/diagnostics, visioning/target state design as well as develop roadmaps and support implementation.   

Healthcare Solutions 

The KPMG Healthcare Solutions team facilitates collaboration between governmental levels and fosters public-private partnerships to drive innovation and develop intellectual capital for an integrated health ecosystem. Our services include redesigning care systems across regional health ecosystems, promoting operational excellence for improved care quality and outcomes, and supporting health workforce stability and adaptation to meet current and future needs. The Healthcare Solutions team offers comprehensive support to clients in realizing strategic targets to drive lasting improvements in healthcare delivery and outcomes.  

Digital Healthcare Solutions 

KPMG’s Digital Healthcare Solutions team is a specialized sector within the global network of KPMG firms that focuses on the intersection of healthcare and technology. This team leverages digital innovation to help healthcare organizations improve patient outcomes, enhance operational efficiency, and navigate the complexities of the regulatory environment. Technology Strategy & Digital Transformation 

The Technology Strategy & Digital Transformation team at KPMG advises clients on how new technology will impact their business and delivers innovative end-to-end digital transformation. We work with digital and functional leaders across industries and sectors to define their vision for digital transformation, develop tailored technology strategies, align with IT assets to be more customer centric, and create and execute implementation plans that drive business value. Please note that for Technology Strategy & Digital Transformation, applicants should demonstrate a clear interest or have a background in technology. 

Banking & Capital Markets

Areas of focus include accessibility, workforce well-being and culture, ethical and sustainable supply chain, social impact strategy, and measurement, and more.

FOR CONSULTANT LEVEL:  

  • You are enrolled in a university degree program (we will be considering candidates from a spectrum of programs such as Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Commerce, Arts, etc.) 
  • You are currently in your third year of study and/or will enter your final year after completing the internship. 
  • You are a highly motivated individual, enthusiastic about taking on a variety of obstacles and opportunities.  
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.   
  • You have a strong academic record. 
  • You have the ability to work independently without supervision, and to work well in a team. 
  • You have strong problem solving and analytical abilities, as well as a proven track record of successfully dealing with multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure.  
  • You have a strong sense of personal accountability. 
  • You have an entrepreneurial drive, and are a creative problem solver. 

 

FOR SENIOR CONSULTANT LEVEL: 

Senior Consultants usually join Management Consulting with at least 3 years of work experience, coming from an MBA, PhD, MD, JD, or other advanced degree program. Senior Consultants are expected to be able to come into the Management Consulting team and immediately make a significant impact. Those coming from undergraduate degrees or master’s degrees with less than 3 years’ work experience should consider applying for the Consultant position.   

  • You are a highly motivated individual, enthusiastic about taking on a variety of obstacles and opportunities. 
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and professional maturity; demonstrated ability to effectively interact and build relationships with a diverse group of clients and colleagues. 
  • You have strong problem solving and analytical abilities, as well as a proven track record of successfully dealing with multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure. 
  • You have an entrepreneurial drive and are a creative problem solver. 
  • You have a strong academic record from your undergraduate or master’s degree.
