When it comes to talent pipeline progression, navigating the intersection of race, gender and immigration can be some of the greatest hurdles to attaining manager-level roles in finance. These setbacks result in a ‘broken middle’, where the representation of Black/People of Colour (BPOC) immigrant women significantly drops in middle management. Fix The Broken Rung released the study Why is it so difficult for racialized immigrant women to get promoted into management? which explores some of the biggest challenges women face on their journey from entry-level to management, and what some of the success factors are that help break down these barriers.
Join us to learn more about the study, and hear first-hand experiences from Amal Masri, founder of Fix The Broken Rung, and women who have participated in WCM’s Return to Bay Street Program.
*After the webinar takes place, all attendees (registrants and panelists) will receive a recorded copy of the webinar, as well as a link to the Why is it so difficult for racialized immigrant women to get promoted into management? Report.
