WCM Announces Changes to Board of Directors

TORONTO, May 26, 2022 – Women in Capital Markets (“WCM”), a national not-for-profit organization that creates solutions to accelerate gender diversity in the Canadian financial services industry, held its Annual General Meeting on May 25, 2022 (the “AGM”). As part of the formal AGM proceedings, WCM announced the reappointment of six members of its Board of Directors (the “Board”), including, Brad Black, Giulia Cirillo Nathalie Clark, Deland Kamanga, Joanne O’Hea and Mary Vitug.

WCM would especially like to thank Joyce Bernasek, Jeannie Collins-Arden, Sheryl Holmes, and Malcolm Lang for their dedication to WCM’s mission as each of their final terms with the Board have concluded. Their respective impact on WCM as an organization has been significant and appreciated by all.

WCM would also like to thank Nathalie Clark, as she moves into the role of Past Chair, for the three terms she has devoted to the Board championing WCM’s mission. Mary Vitug, Chair of WCM’s Board said of Nathalie, “I am grateful to Nathalie for her important contribution to WCM. Her leadership, expertise and dedication to the Board over the past eight years has been tremendous. I welcome the opportunity to continue to work alongside Nathalie.”

WCM’s CEO and President, Lara Zink, remarked, “On behalf of WCM, we would like to recognize the immeasurable impact Nathalie Clark has made on our organization. Please join me in thanking Nathalie for her contribution to WCM as she assumes the position of Past Chair and welcoming Mary Vitug as WCM’s incoming Chair of the Board.”
