For any professional, it’s tough to climb the corporate ladder. And for women who get sidetracked from their careers, the ascent is even tougher.

International Women’s Day is upon us, and with it, recognition of both how far we’ve come and of the work that remains. This year’s theme is “Embracing Equity” —highly relevant as many organizations continue their drive towards diversity, equity, and inclusion. It’s encouraging that this March, so many organizations have adopted – and continue to adopt – measures that have the direct aim of reducing inequities and improving women’s inclusion.

WCM’s Return to Bay Street (RTBS) program is accepting applications for the first cycle starting February 1st and closing February 22nd. Experienced women who have previously held mid-level and senior positions in finance, have taken time away from their careers, and are now interested in returning are encouraged to apply.

WCM is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2023 WCM Executive Leaders Award. The prestigious award aims to accelerate the career trajectories of women who are accomplished in their careers and who are breaking the glass ceiling. This year there are 18 women receiving the accolade- the highest number awarded in one year, to date.

The 15th annual WCM Awards Reception took place on December 7th at the Toronto Region Board of Trade to celebrate the recipients of our Transformational Leadership, Rising Star, and Outstanding Volunteer awards!
