WCM's Job Shadow Day is a free, day-long event, featuring interactive workshops, networking and mentoring sessions, presentations profiling women with diverse careers in the capital markets, and an afternoon of job shadowing with a mentor who works in the industry. Past Job Shadow Days have been a tremendous success as they have given students a first-hand view of the exciting careers in capital markets.

After extended absences, networking, mentorships help professionals make transition. Back in 2012, Christine Sauriol was chief compliance officer for Canadian operations at Deutsche Bank in Toronto. She also had two small children, and while she enjoyed her job, she was finding the demands of work and home life too much. So Sauriol quit work to devote herself to her family full-time, for five years. But returning to the workforce proved a challenge.

Women in Capital Markets (WCM), a non-profit advocacy organization which promotes the entry and advancement of women into leadership roles in the financial services industry, is pleased to recognize the recipients of the 2017 WCM Return to Bay Street (RTBS) Award.
